Bouchon
Originally established in 1987, Bouchon has long been an institution in Chester for great French fare served in a bustling atmospheric surrounding. The oldest independent restaurant in the City is now under new ownership.
We are returning back to the classical flavours of French country cooking. The slow-simmering stews, the fragrant bubbling soups, the succulent roasts, the crisp fresh salads, the melting flans - all lovingly celebrated, recreated and expertly served with a smile.
When laying down the vision for the new Bouchon Brasserie, the owners unanimously agreed that it should be a restaurant where they would love to dine time and time again.
The key factors that would attract them to such a place would be true classic French cuisine, expertly cooked with passion and knowledge; comfortable, stylish surroundings without gimmicks; courteous and friendly service... Oh and real tablecloths!
