Meet The Comedians –
Noel James
Noel James is one of the best comics in the UK, he got to the semi-final of Britain’s Got Talent in 2018. He has been treading the boards – some would say walking the plank – for twenty-five years. An experienced, very original, comedian from Swansea, Wales, who has played – and often headlined – most comedy clubs in the UK including Glee Clubs, Banana Cabaret, Hyena, The Stand, Up The Creek, Frog and Bucket, Baby Blue, and more. He’s performed at major festivals, and gigs abroad in places like Dubai, Shanghai, Berlin, Cape Town and Canada. He’s done sketch shows on BBC Radio Wales, and various TV comedy and acting roles in both English and Welsh. When Noel’s on stage his goal is to literally cheer everyone up, if he can. He can also perform in his mother tongue, the Welsh language.
Graeme Rayner
Graeme Rayner is a talented comic and raconteur from Yorkshire who is making his way in the comedy circuit, he’s certainly one to watch.
Sean Moran
Stalwart of the North West circuit, True life tales of being a supply teacher
The acidic Mancunian has a scathingly dry wit and writes some sharp observational comedy, supply teaching yields a rich seam of material for this perceptive, intelligent stand-up
Roland Gent MC
Roland Gent has been on the northern circuit for over 20 years constantly writing and evolving his act from simple observations to politics, one liners and filth. Expect references to what ever is going on in the world from someone who looks at life from an odd angle. Laughs guaranteed as he relentlessly bashes big hitting laughs at the audience.
“Now the night had been rolling along nicely till Roland Gent hit the stage and sent the laughter levels soaring” Manchester Evening News
“Gent has some killer material but the stuff about taking your speed awareness course really hit the mark and took things to another level” Notts Comedy Review
