Chester Male Voice Choir celebrates it’s 80th Anniversary with a special concert in Chester Cathedral with special guests the world renowned and hugely entertaining Foden’s Band.
The Choir was formed in 1941 by Fred Warren and employees of the Hydraulic Engineering Company off Brook Street in Chester. It grew and developed from there and became The Cestrian Male Voice Choir then later The City of Chester Male Voice Choir. Now known simply as Chester Male Voice Choir, it is award-winning and much sought after. This anniversary concert was rescheduled from 2021 due to Covid restrictions.
The Choir has a long relationship with the brilliant Foden’s Band and will combine with them on some moving and powerful joint pieces
The charismatic Matt Baker BEM, the Choir’s new President, will introduce the Concert.
