Storyhouse’s Moonlight Flicks open air cinema brings you screenings of Encanto at Dean's Field by the Cathedral this summertime
Moonlight Flicks is returning this summer between July and September in the beautiful location of Chester Cathedral's Dean's Field with a fabulous 30ft cinema screen and plenty of space - the only thing missing is you and your deckchair!
Enjoy Encanto alfresco in the incredibly picturesque Dean's Field flanked by Chester's historic walls with the iconic Cathedral as the cinema's magnificent backdrop.

You can also order fresh street food and there will be a bar serving up craft beer on draft, frozen cocktails, gin slushies, special Moonlight Flicks IPA, cider and wines as well as hot chocolates, coffee and tea.

Directions to The Dean’s Field on foot:
From Town Hall Square:
Walk through Abbey Archway (next to the Co Op Bank) and across Abbey Square.
Follow Abbey Street down to the city wall and turn left. The Dean’s Field is ahead of you.
From Frodsham Street: (this route is accessible for wheelchair users)
Walk through Kaleyard’s Gate (there is a ramp here for wheelchair users) and turn right. The Dean’s Field is ahead of you.
