Painting Evening Experience With The Paint Republic at Pickles

Pickles is a specialist wine merchants and wine bar located just a short stroll over the Old Dee Bridge in Handbridge, Chester and they're hosting a Painting  evening with The Paint Republic.

Think you can’t paint? Think again! The fabulous Lindsay Burgess of The Paint Republic will guide you, brush stroke by brush stroke, to create your own fabulous masterpiece you’ll be proud to hang on your wall. Lindsay has hosted more painting parties than you’ve had hot dinners, so you’re in safe hands.

Our paint and sip event invites complete beginners to dive into painting in a fun, relaxed, and judgment-free environment. Join us for an evening of creativity, led by a professional artist who will guide you step-by-step as you paint a beautiful picture. We’ll provide music, fun, and a space where free-styling is encouraged. There are no right or wrong ways to paint—just let your creativity flow. You’ll be amazed at what you can create when you let go and have fun. In just two hours, you’ll finish a canvas painting that’s perfect for displaying at home or gifting to someone special. Unleash your inner artist!

Join Pickles in their Upstairs Bar for a relaxing evening of painting, with a glass of something lovely to accompany (it’s great for inspiration!) You will be painting a beautiful, wine inspired picture of a rustic French Chateau – perfect to get you in the mood for that well deserved summer holiday!!

All artist materials will be provided, and your canvas is yours to take home at the end of the evening. The event will begin at 7 pm, but please arrive earlier to enjoy a drink and maybe a Mediterranean cheese & charcuterie platter in the brand new bar!
