Your resident host Mr Brake Down is back in action with some boozy, bluesy flair as he brings his inner lounge lizard to your cabaret experience this month, previewing a little taste of Doom & Glitter, his Edinburgh Fringe show for 2023. June’s cabaret promises a variety of show-stopping numbers, cheeky thrills and tons of laughter. First up, a warm welcome to our returning burlesque vixen Kee La Basa, bringing you a range of treats from traditional fan dance through to the pop culture nerdlesque you're all dying to see more of! Next up is JenJenJen, so good she named herself three times! Jen is the cabaret’s very first live music act, bringing us acoustic originals and covers in her own quirky queer style. Direct from Shropshire’s premier nerdy drag troupe Dungeons and Drag Kings, queen of laughter Cruella D'Phil offering stunning live vocals, comedy and vivacious wit. Last but by no means least, the sensational Kitty De Vyne brings her Big Diva Energy to the stage, celebrating body positivity in all the right ways with a sensual selection of burlesque treats. The Upside Down is always a night filled with mischievous thrills, melodious tunes and many a titter, so grab your tickets without delay!

This LGBTQIA+-led event promotes queer artistry of all kinds, with performers from neurodivergent, disabled and marginalised backgrounds as well as showcasing the best in new and alternative drag, pop culture and nerdlesque, parody and satire, multimedia performance art and beyond. Hosted by local drag king Mr Brake Down, the show promises thrills, laughter and quality entertainment in an inclusive joyous space. Come turn your world Upside Down for the night!
