The Upside Down Cabaret at The Live Rooms

Your resident host Mr Brake Down is back with another vivacious and varied helping of drag, burlesque, live singing and beyond. Joining us for a very special pre-show treat is Jen Jen Jen, offering a live set of merry covers and mirthful original tracks to settle you into showtime. First up on the main roster, a warm welcome to our returning king Raphael Hoe, offering us his dulcet tones in some sensational live singing alongside the usual drag treats! Next up we have a duo of incredible burlesque stars, beginning with Miss Vienna Rose: a burlesque/pole and chair acro performer who loves to tease and please her audience. She’s bringing us lots of sass and ALL the ass we could ever wish for. Her favourite playmate Lavender Menace will be there too to complete our double trouble duo. She’s a tiny, queer burlesque performer, but don’t be fooled by her size: she is anything but cute! Rounding off our show this month we warmly welcome Wolfy, the king of Canal Street: a magical place just off the M62 in Manchester’s gay village. He is a live singing cabaret king, bringing you all that singalong cheesy campery you can't help but toe tap to! The Upside Down is always a night filled with mischievous thrills, melodious tunes and many a titter, so grab your tickets without delay!

This LGBTQIA+-led event promotes queer artistry of all kinds, with performers from neurodivergent, disabled and marginalised backgrounds as well as showcasing the best in new and alternative drag, pop culture and nerdlesque, parody and satire, multimedia performance art and beyond.
