Your resident host with the most Mr Brake Down welcomes you to the final Upside Down Cabaret of 2023 before we take a well earned break for the holiday season! And what could be better than an end of year bash but a birthday bash for our very own Miss Cherry Good, who will be delighting audiences with her debauched musical hijinks once more. Joining us from our Shropshire extended family is lipsync royalty Sylvia Black, delivering 100% drag queen diva to some of your all time favourite hits. And making her Upside Down debut, we are delighted to welcome the devilishly delicious Dolly to our stage with a fantastic variety of acrobatic and sultry routines. If our recent forays into circus and sideshow have got your motors running, then definitely don’t miss TJ Harty and his unbelievable glass performances! And of course, we’re delighted to welcome back our resident musician JenJenJen to help you get into the cabaret mood for some pre-show bops. The Upside Down Cabaret offers you a show where things are never quite as they seem, and performers from many weird and wonderful walks of life find their moment to shine. From outrageously funny drag performances to dancing divas, comedy, burlesque, live singing, cross-cultural and multimedia performances, there’s something different every time you walk through these doors…
This LGBTQIA+-led event promotes queer artistry of all kinds, with performers from neurodivergent, disabled and marginalised backgrounds as well as showcasing the best in new and alternative drag, pop culture and nerdlesque, parody and satire, multimedia performance art and beyond. Hosted by local drag king Mr Brake Down, the show promises thrills, laughter and quality entertainment in an inclusive joyous space. Come turn your world Upside Down for the night!
