Upton-by-Chester Golf Club is an established 18-hole parkland course with tree lined fairways and natural water hazards. Originally designed as a 9-hole course in 1934 and used plant pots for holes and garden canes as flags, the course has significantly changed over the years.
Upton Gold Club is one of Chester and Cheshire’s finest golf courses, and has a USGA specification which means you can play all year round whatever the weather. With the course being relatively flat and not overly long, it is great for improving your game or getting into the sport. With most holes being par 3, it doesn’t mean to say it wont challenge even the most experienced golfers as the course has a few tricky challenges.
Upton Golf Club has a reputation for being a family friendly club, welcoming new members and visitors and even has a restaurant on site if you’re feeling peckish after your round of golf.
