Traditional Archery (Age 12 +)

• The team will start by familiarising you with bows, arrows and the range. Then you'll move on to firing and developing the technique to aim.
• They use a bare bow which means it hasn’t got all the bells and whistles of an Olympic Archer and your instructors will concentrate helping you develop a base skill and an understanding of the raw techniques of aiming and firing.
• During your session you will play a number of games with a competitive element.

Crossbows (Age 12 +)

• These are trigger operated with a sight much like a rifle, so accuracy can be achieved more quickly than archery and these sessions are run in the indoor range.
• Your instructor will ensure you have a fun day learning how the crossbow works, and help you to hone your skills throughout the session.
• Hover Force's crossbows have been specifically developed for their use.

Combat Archery (Ages 12 +)

• This is a group based game played very much like dodgeball with two teams shooting it out.
• The arrows are foam capped so don't worry, it doesn’t hurt!
• If you shoot someone from the opposite team they go out of the game.
• If you shoot a spot from a target board then you can get team members who are out, back in the game.
• If you catch an arrow from the opposing team then the shooter goes out and a member of your team who is ‘out’ comes back into the game.
• You need a minimum of 8 people to play and as it involves hitting other people, it's only suitable for closed groups that all know each other.
