Handling a hovercraft is a cross between that of a boat, plane and a supermarket trolley making piloting them an exciting skill to master!

Steering is by a combination of handlebars and kneeling to shift your body weight, while the thrust – which can take you up to 35mph - is from an enormous duct fan behind you.

Hover Force are unique in that their marshland water is shallow (so no need to worry about life jackets), and there's plenty of it so you get the full sensation of drifting sideways over the surface of the water.

Hover Force provide all the safety equipment you will need but please dress in appropriate clothing that you don’t mind getting wet!

• Race side by side on Hover Force's unique pair of identical side by side tracks that allow you to compete without the risk of collision.
