River Boat Cruise at Anderton Boat Lift

The mighty Anderton Boat Lift is one of only two working boat lifts in the country and classed as one of the ‘Seven Wonders of the Waterways’  nicknamed the 'Cathedral of the Canals' - seeing is believing and you can get up close and personal on this river cruise!

60 minute River cruises along the picturesque Weaver Navigation aboard 'The Edwin Clark', which is named after the engineer who designed and constructed the Anderton Boat Lift. The trip includes a brilliant commentary on the history of the River and Anderton Lift, and a rarely seen up close and personal view of this incredible scheduled ancient monument.

The boat seats up to 54 passengers and will take two wheelchairs.

Booking is advised to avoid disappointment and on busy days, extra sailings will be added if required.
