Chester’s Christmas lights switch ons illuminate the city

• 12 November – The Town Hall Square Christmas tree will arrive awaiting  the light up of the entire city.

• 19 November- Chester’s Christmas lights will adorn the streets throughout the season bringing festive cheer to the city.  During the 12 Days of Christmas Parade each street will be illuminated as the parade passes through on 20 November.

• TBC – The suburb of Hoole will bring the whole community together with Christmas Lights at 6 pm.

• 28 November – 4 January – Chester Cathedral will also be lit up by annual Christmas Tree Festival with twinkling trees surrounding the iconic building decorated by local schools and businesses in aid of local charities. 

• TBC – Cheshire Oaks iconic 90ft centre centrepiece Christmas tree will be erected and lit which is always a sight to behold!
• Thursday 13 November – Saturday 3 January – Chester Zoo is transformed into a magical illuminated wildlife wonderland with their incredibly popular Lanterns and Light spectacular
