Now you can dine surrounded by history in one of Chester’s coolest venues….
One of Chester’s most popular venues has launched an innovative new menu. The Guild, which is housed in the four hundred year old former Guild Hall on Watergate Street, have teamed up with multi-award winning Cheshire caterers Cheeky Chilli, to create the exciting new ‘street food’ inspired menu, which is packed full of globally inspired favourites.
Cheshire based luxury caterers Cheeky Chilli said they are delighted to be heading up the new initiative which launches on Wednesday 2nd December.
Cheeky Chilli Director Kim Maher said: ‘We are beyond excited to be partnering with the guys at the Guild for this seasonal collaboration. We’ve hosted a number of events at the Guild and we love it. It’s such an incredible space and we are really looking forward to meeting all the guests and showcasing what we do.’
Guests can pre-book a slot for their household or business meeting and tuck into an epic plate of street food and signature Cheeky Chilli dishes with five delicious dishes for just £20 per person.
The street food platter (which will literally take your taste-buds around the world) includes, Indonesian peppered beef skewers, halloumi fries cooked in sesame seeds and honey, Caribbean crab cakes, Cajun blackened quesadilla with guacamole and glazed crispy pork belly with apple purée and an apple crisp. The menu, which also offers both vegetarian and vegan options, will be available from Wednesday to Friday 4-10pm, Saturday from 2-10pm and Sunday evening after our traditional Sunday service lunch until 10pm with last orders for food at 8.30pm.
If all that wasn’t enough, the team will also be launching a Festive Sunday Lunch Offering. Running throughout December, the three course seasonal menu ( 2 Courses £35 / 3 Courses £40) has all you would expect from a traditional Sunday lunch menu with a few exciting twists.
Guild owners Stefania and Steve Jones said: ‘Guests have been asking us to launch a food offering since we first opened our doors just over a year ago. We wanted to make sure we got the service and ambience on point first and also got a good understanding of what guests wanted. Obviously lockdown has given us the opportunity to work hard on the menu and Cheeky Chilli have literally blown us away with the dishes they have created. With the city now in Tier two it’s an obvious time to launch and we can’t wait to see if our guests love the new menu as much as we do.’
