Chester Beer & Wine is a specialist wine merchants and wine bar located just a short stroll over the Old Dee Bridge in Handbridge, Chester and is a true delight for lovers of beer and wine.

All of the several hundred wines & spirits are personally selected by owner Sam Jackson and the range of 400 beers is lovingly chosen by resident beer guru Dave Calver, always ensuring the best quality and value.

If you're not sure what you want, there are always helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff offering tailored, unpretentious advice. Upstairs is a brand new and delightful wine bar, where you can enjoy sampling delicious wines by the glass, any of the hundreds of beers, and a wide selection of spirits. The upstairs bar is also a venue for lots of exciting tasting events, and you can even hire the venue for your own private party or event.

The tasting evenings are aimed at all levels of wine knowledge, so whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced quaffer these evenings are fully inclusive and include a sharing cheese platter.
