The 2019 Chester Heritage Festival will be officially launched at Chester Racecourse on 25th May. Where better to introduce this Festival than at the oldest racecourse in the land. Established in 1539, racing has taken place on the Roodee for 480 years and this year’s Heritage Festival programme will be introduced at the Roman Day fixture. Join Festival organisers and enjoy a host of activities out on the Open Course. This family-themed race day is especially fun for youngsters who can learn some fascinating facts about their Cestrian ancestors and witness some spectacular sporting displays both on and off the track.
