Chester Live returns in 2020 for the 6th year and due to the current Covid-19 crisis, the full event has been postponed and replaced with an 'Online & Live' event which will run from the 15th - 21st June 2020.
A great mix of local, national and international acts have now recorded their videos and the program for the festival week is under development.
The aim of the festival is to promote all forms of live music to the local community and bring the community together to get involved with projects which will incorporate all ages and all communities.
The festival aims to bring a community cohesion through live music and to introduce people of all ages and ethnic backgrounds to local live acts from Chester and surrounding areas.
A number of the events will be free live music events across the city of Chester.
Community-based live music activities will include musical workshops, art-based activities and instrument building activities.
Events will take place from 11 venues across the city and these will cover all of the city's wards from Handbridge to Hoole and all wards in between.
