Roarsome Chester is returning with a Jurassic extravaganza coming to Chester full of free family-friendly activities. Come along to experience these huge dinosaurs walking amongst onlookers, where you can take pictures and get up close!
Dino Walkabouts
Keep an eye out on Eastgate Street for the big orange tent to catch these magnificent creatures as they make their appearances in intervals from 11 am to 3 pm on selected dates in August.
- Saturday 10 August - Bumble the Brontosaurus, Zoom, and Baxter the T-Rexā€™s
- Sunday 18 August - Bumble the Brontosaurus, Zoom T-Rex, and Mega the Megalosaurus
Dino Hunt
Families are invited to find dinosaurs hidden in 25 businesses across the city for the chance to win a Ā£50 Chester Gift Card.
From Saturday 10 August ā€“ Sunday 25 August all you have to do is track down 10 or more Dinos hiding in local businesses and send back the completed activity sheet by Monday 26 August.

SEN Sessions
Meet the dinosaurs in a relaxed, fully accessible setting at StoryhouseĀ with dino activities including a song and some friendly theatrics, as well as an opportunity to have an up-close experience with the dinos if you wish.
- Monday 19 August - Free entry but booking is essential via Storyhouse as there are limited spaces
