The festival, now in its fourth year, runs from 12 - 5 pm on Saturday 14 - Sunday 15 September at Chester zoo’s free-to-access Nature Reserve.
The FREE Wildlife Connections Festival is Chester Zoo’s annual celebration of British nature, also featuring live music and an array of hands-on activities for families.
BAFTA award-winning TV presenter Moate - who hosts CBeebies hit show, ‘Did You Know?’, and also features on BBC Springwatch’s ‘Wild Academy’ - will bring her celebrated live performance to the zoo, on day two of the weekend festival.
Through a show that’s packed with British wildlife stories, quizzes and fun tips, Moate specialises in inspiring curiosity and wonder in younger audiences.
The festival is part of the zoo’s ongoing Wildlife Connections conservation campaign, which aims to help the British public create more wildlife-friendly spaces for threatened species.
