Leading conservationist Chester Zoo has joined forces with Pura to help parents with babies enjoy easier visits.
While zoo news typically focuses on furry and feathery new-borns, the latest update from the award-winning Cheshire attraction centres on human babies, its youngest guests.
The zoo based just beyond Chester’s Roman walls has teamed up with the respected baby care brand to upgrade its current facilities to make young children visiting more comfortable.
Throughout its 130-acre grounds, the zoo’s 14 dedicated baby-changing rooms have now been refreshed and replenished with nappies and eco-conscious clean wipes designed by Pura. Both products can be purchased from dedicated dispensers to help carers and parents look after little ones while they investigate the tens of thousands of amazing animals onsite.
The baby changing facilities themselves have experienced a refresh and now boast a bright and colourful new look. By Easter, Pura’s eco-friendly product range will be stocked in the zoo shop and inside the overnight luxury lodges of The Reserve, the recently opened resort set amidst an African-style savannah area populated by zebras and giraffes.
Commenting on the collaboration, Pura’s founder, Guy Fennell, said the brand was originally developed to deliver parents safe and soft baby products that were made responsibly and free of toxins. He said that the company was proud to unite with the zoo and shared its mission to make a better future for the planet, wildlife and young children.
Babies and children under age three can enjoy free entry to Chester Zoo.
