This October, the city of Chester is welcoming back Cheshire Fashion Week.
The 2025 edition will begin at Chester Town Hall with a glamourous opening night that takes place alongside this year’s Fashion Week Awards. While this event is an exclusive and invitation-only occasion, as part of Fashion Week members of the public can enjoy an evening of entertainment and high fashion at Chester Cathedral.
Residents and travellers in Chester with a craving for couture can appreciate an impeccable selection of elegant gowns against a backdrop of the iconic city landmark’s grade-listed interior. The three-and-a-half-hour celebration begins at 7 pm and will honour the artistry of Cheshire’s accomplished fashion designers.
The exquisite dresses present on the evening have been specially designed to reflect both artistic history and contemporary fashion. Designers will highlight their newest creations, fashioned by drawing inspiration from the rich cultural heritage of Cheshire and Chester Cathedral’s architectural beauty.
Now considered the North’s biggest fashion week, the upcoming edition promises runways shows and a chance to witness art and fashion becoming one.
Cheshire Fashion Week 2025 begins on Friday, October 17, and events will be held in Chester Town Hall on Saturday, October 18 at Chester Cathedral. Tickets for the event at Chester Cathedral are priced between £35 and £70 per person, and tickets are already available to purchase.
The town hall can be found at 33 Northgate Street, and the cathedral is on Saint Werburgh Street. Those under the age of 14 must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian.
