Chester Cathedral to Host Psychedelic Rock Concert

This autumn, musical ensemble Let Me In Presents are returning to tackle another Cathedral Tour across the UK, including a set at Chester’s grade-listed landmark.

Featuring an all-new production called “An Evening of Pink Floyd” which follows their sold-out tour titled “An Evening of Radiohead”, the show will see Chester Cathedral ring out with songs from the iconic band that fused psychedelic and progressive rock.

Floyd fans in attendance will be treated to an electrifying stage performance featuring accomplished vocalists, the 18-piece Let Me In House Band and the Mike Nowland String and Brass Ensemble, with all music amplified by the incredible acoustics of the Nave.

The cleverly curated set-list promises audiences some of Pink Floyd’s most memorable hits, alongside hidden gems sourced from the band’s extensive discography. However, the focus of the concert is on their albums produced during the 1970s like “The Wall”, “Wish You Were Here” and “Dark Side of the Moon”.

An Evening of Pink Floyd will now be live at Chester Cathedral on Saturday, September 27. Doors to the event will open at 6.45 pm, and the band will play from 7.30 pm to 10.15 pm. The cathedral can be found situated on Saint Werburgh Street in Chester.

The Let Me In House Band is led Christopher Buckle, with musical direction from Ewan Steady, and tickets are priced at £46.13 per person. Ticket holders under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or their legal guardian.
