Chester’s medieval cathedral has announced a grand event coming to its elegant interior in 2026. Back by popular demand, the wedding experts Bouquet & Bells are coming to Chester to holds a one-day wintertime Wedding Fayre.
Among Bouquet & Bells’ biggest wedding shows, the upcoming event will showcase more than 60 specialist suppliers of wedding goods and services. With a wide range of vendors gathered beneath the cathedral’s grade-listed ceiling, the fayre is designed to make it easy for couples to compare companies and brands to find the best options that suit their individual needs.
After a welcoming glass of bubbly, couples attending will encounter a wide range of wedding professionals they can talk face-to-face with. These include wedding caterers, entertainers, hair stylists, stationery designers and printers, photographers, florists and flower arrangers, makeup artists, dress makers and much more. There will also be a catwalk show to highlight wedding trends for 2026.
Additional benefits await guests of the fayre, including special deals and discounts on key products and services designed to offer substantial savings. Arriving early on the day is advised by the event organisers, as the first guests will be able to enjoy a special perk. On entry, the first 100 couples through the cathedral doors will get an exclusive goody bag.
The Bouquet & Bells Wedding Fayre will now be held at Chester Cathedral on Saturday, January 17. The event begins at 11 am and runs until 3 pm with tickets available for just £2.33 per person. The cathedral is based on St Werburgh Street in Chester.
