Residents and visitors to Chester looking to rock out in the new year will find the city is the place to be.
January will find Alexander’s Live opening its doors to a show called “Queen Rhapsody – The Ultimate Live Experience”.
Celebrated for being the city’s longest running live music venue, Alexander’s was opened by comic legend Bob Monkhouse in 1991. Over the years, it has hosted many famous comedians and musicians, including Jack Dee and Ed Sheeran.
The upcoming concert features hit tribute Queen Rhapsody, a band that works to recreate all the emotion, energy and action of a live Queen performance. Jamming together for nine years, the four-piece work together on stage like a well-oiled machine. Designed for Queen fans to enjoy a nostalgic and authentic experience, the show has toured the UK and across the channel in Europe.
The show’s Producer, Bradley Mitchell, commented:
“We are very proud of our show and put all of our energy into making the show sound like Queen did in their magnificent live concerts.”
Those coming down to the event at Alexander’s can expect all the highlights of a Queen concert like soaring guitar solos, flamboyant showmanship, powerhouse vocals and anthemic rock numbers. The band have amassed a repertoire of some of the most loved tracks in the Queen songbook like “Bohemian Rhapsody”, “We Will Rock You” and “It’s A Kind of Magic”.
The show will now be on stage at Alexander’s Live on Saturday, January 24. The concert starts at 9 pm and the venue is in Rufus Court in Chester.
