The home of flat racing in the city, Chester Racecourse is welcoming an event called “The Cheshire Wedding Fayre” to its grounds this year. The spring celebration is presented by wedding specialist Bouquet & Bells and promises to offer everything couples need to tie the knot.
A largescale event, the fayre features more than 60 different suppliers that specialise in products and services for weddings. At the races for just one day, organisers have booked the venerable racecourse’s massive County Stand for the show.
With a multitude of vendors in a single location, the event makes research easier. Couples can meet wedding suppliers in person on the day offering services like hairstyling, photography, stationery design, flower arranging, make up artistry, dress design and entertainment. Exclusive offers, special deals and expert advice will be accessible, and early entrants will get an exclusive bag loaded with goodies and discounts.
Those keen to see the trending wedding styles for 2026 can also sit in on a special catwalk show featuring the latest fashion for brides and grooms. Founded in 1539, the historic racecourse offers guests of the fayre an elegant environment to shop, explore and get fresh inspiration for their upcoming nuptials.
The Cheshire Wedding Fayre will run at Chester Racecourse on Sunday, March 5. The event will get underway at 11 am and finishes up at 3 pm. The racecourse is sited on New Crane Street in Chester.
Admission is only £3 per person and includes a welcome glass of bubbles. Those under 18 enjoy free entry.
