Home of the fabulously “Famous hanging Kebab” and cocktails infused with natural herbs, The Botanist is a highlight of Chester’s eclectic dining scene. Now, the esteemed eatery has unveiled new menus specially designed for the holiday season, filled with festive food and drink.
Launching on Wednesday, November 19 and available all the way until Christmas Eve, guests of the bar and restaurant can order two or three course meals from the “Christmas Dining Menu” or nibble on “Festive Finger Food” while indulging in built-for-the-season drinks packages.
Starters on the dining menu include fried camembert bites and proper pigs in blankets, while for mains, there is sirloin steak, mushroom pie, pan-fried salmon and a Christmas edition of The Botanist’s much-loved kebabs. Puddings are designed to match all diets, from vegan vanilla cheesecake to classic sticky toffee pudding with gingerbread ice cream and butterscotch sauce.
Finger foods to enjoy with drinks are equally intriguing like Korean fried chicken, Italian arancini and salt and pepper calamari. Other options include seasoned fries, mezze boards and chocolate brownies for sweet tooths.
Spreading plenty of cheer, generous drinks packages are designed for festive parties of all sizes. Beer buckets containing a dozen bottles of cans of top brands like Beavertown Neck Oil and Peroni are ready to order, alongside speciality, standard and wine and prosecco packages. For fans of spirits, special vouchers are also available that make ordering drinks and mixers easier.
