Chester Folk Festival 2025

The Chester Folk Festival takes place annually over the last weekend in May in the village of Kelsall, about 8 miles from Chester. The local and national folk world make their way to Kelsall to celebrate all things Folk at this family friendly festival.

Expect a cracking line up of artists with something for everyone at Chester Folk Festival. The young and the young at heart are catered for making it a truly family friendly event.

Whether you are camping for the weekend or dropping in for the day, the festival is based around Kelsall Green – a large field behind the Morris Dancer pub in Kelsall. The main concert marquee, craft fair, children's entertainment and some camping is based on the field. The main campsite is at Green Lane Farm about half a mile away and there will be a free shuttle bus connecting the venues and campsites.
