The Walled Garden School is located in the grounds of Hawarden Castle and is the venue for a cooking class for a Valentine's Day Feast with Adam Williams.

Learn how to cook a feast like no other. This is a great Valentine’s Day activity for couples, or for two friends.
You will finish the day with lots of new recipes, skills and new knowledge of cooking on the fire. The intimate setting means you will beinefit from hands-on experience with our head chef, Adam.
You can use what you learn here to later impress friends, family and loved ones too.
Adam will take you through the process of preparing your fire, lighting and controlling it. And then take you through a 4-course menu celebrating seasonal, local ingredients.
You will learn to make everything on the menu below, and the class will finish with a lunch made up of all the delicious dishes that you cook together.
Menu:
Starter: Leek and potato Welsh cake, mature Welsh cheddar and apple chutney
Pasta Course: Lobster tortellini, bisque, chilli and dill
Main Course: Tamworth pork chop, swede and pumpkin terrine, fermented shiitake, grilled brassicas and pickled blackcurrant jus
Pudding: Blood orange and almond cake (v/ve), cinnamon crème anglaise
