Joseph Benjamin is a modern restaurant in Chester serving seasonal local produce on unfussy plates packed with flavour, located at the top of Northgate Street, next to the Chester city walls. A family restaurant run by two brothers Ben and Joe, which has been serving high-quality dishes, using locally sourced ingredients since 2006.

Available Saturday and Sunday from 16 January. A new online ordering system will be in place from 11 January. Orders close each week at 9 pm on Fridays. Sunday Roasts can be ordered through the week and collected from Saturday afternoon at 2 pm and re-heated when you’re ready.

The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner from Wednesday to Sunday. It is a perfect pre-theatre dining choice being a short stroll from Storyhouse, Chester's theatre, cinema and arts centre.
The simple ethos of serving good food and drink, which was the backbone of the original business remains today and has been rewarded with a Michelin Guide ‘Bib Gourmand’ award every year since 2012.
