Event Details
The Chester Duck Race is a super fun, FREE event held annually as a great way to raise money for The Countess Charity!
This fun family event will take place on the River Dee where, from the lovely setting of the Groves, you can watch fantastically dressed up rubber duckies fight their way to finish first and be crowned the winner of The Chester Duck Race!
The event is free but through the corporate sponsorship The Countess Charity team use this wonderfully eccentric event to raise money for The Countess of Chester Hospital.
12 pm - 2 pm
- Viewing of the amazing ducks all imaginatively sponsored by local businesses
- Fun activities for children including a colouring competition, hook a duck & a visit from Puddle Duck
3 pm
- The Chester Duck Race gets underway on the river
4 pm
- Prizes awarded
