Following government guidelines regarding Covid-19, The Chester Fields Country Pub & Restaurant are temporarily shutting but don’t worry, they are not shutting up shop completely. They will now be offering a READY TO HEAT home delivery service within a ten-mile radius (further afield for bulk orders) from 12 noon Saturday 28th March. All meals still use locally sourced grub (sharing the love in the area) and will be prepared by Chef Helder! On Sundays, there is a choice between chilled ready to cook roast dinners and a hot ready to eat option.
50p of every meal is donated to the charity Cash4Kids.

The Chester Fields is a stunning Country Pub, Restaurant and Wedding venue only 4 miles outside of Chester set in the heart of the Cheshire countryside. They’re famous for their use of local produce, amazing views & bizarrely, the Austrian ski lodge plonked in the middle of Cheshire.
The Chester Fields isn’t your usual country pub and restaurant. You see, they like to do things differently, have a bit of fun & perhaps break some of the rules along the way.
They are the only venue that actually has a field full of Alpacas that you can book for experiences. Great for the family!
We’ve also heard through the grapevine that they are about to build a 14 bedroom hotel on site that will be extremely popular for weddings, Chester Races and the ever-increasing tourist population visiting Chester.
Their welcoming converted barn is the perfect setting for any occasion. From cosy couple dining to bespoke weddings and big blow out celebrations. They even boast glorious gardens for Al Fresco dining (as long as the Great British weather plays ball of course!) & the private ski-style huts for drinking ice-cold beer are the ideal escape from reality. With great real ales and authentic Austrian Schnapps, there’s no better place to kick back, relax and enjoy the company of friends, family and business people.
They take great pride in sourcing the majority of the food on their carefully produced menu from local suppliers and have won numerous awards in just about every category, in particular best use of local produce for 5 consecutive years.
Using these fantastic local ingredients and products dishes are cooked and served simply and deliciously for you to enjoy.
This place is very popular and booking at weekends is advised. If you're thinking of a place to get married then you have to speak to them about their very creative packages that are tailored to literally every budget. You can even have the Alpacas walking you down the aisle holding the rings.
