Bolesworth Estate, set in the heart of the Cheshire countryside, is the spectacular setting for a Spring garden walk, the first open garden visitor event at Bolesworth since 2008
Explore Bolesworth’s beautiful and unique gardens in the heart of Cheshire. Walk around the lake, through the castle gardens and discover the stunning spring garden above the castle on Friday 12 and Saturday 13 May as part of the National Garden Scheme (NGS).
All proceeds will go to the excellent charities supported by the NGS, such as Marie Curie, Macmillan Cancer Support, Hospice UK and more.
Established by Anthony Barbour in 1986, this woodland garden stretches for half a mile along the sandstone outcrop above the castle and gives unparalleled panoramic views of Cheshire, North Wales and Merseyside. Planted up with Rhododendrons, Camellias and Azaleas and many more spring plants; new paths have been made and the 19th century stone features restored.
Either before or after your walk, you can purchase a selection of refreshments from The Lost Barn Coffee Roasters.
Book your tickets via the 'Tickets' button above.
£10 per person and pre-booking is essential.
Suitable for children aged 12 and above, no wheelchairs or buggies
