The home of sweet frozen treats in Cheshire, The Ice Cream Farm, recently announced its list of events and attractions for the festive season.
Offering experiences for all ages, the award-winning attraction is welcoming in the season with style. Santa’s Grotto and Elves’ Workshop will make a welcome return in November and December, featuring new and improved elements for 2023.
Set in Santa’s cosy lodge, guests can make food for his reindeer, and pick a present from his Elves Emporium. Two scoops of tasty ice cream will also be served in a special mug featuring a Christmas character.
Budding bakers in Chester can also attend “Cookie Making with Mrs Claus”. Inside the Sticky Paws restaurant, kids can cook with Santa’s wife and make seasonal treats to take back home in a festive presentation bag.
Those seeking a family-friendly challenge can also pit their wits against the Winter Escape Room, where teams of four can crack codes to beat the clock.
Other events include a breakfast or a story time session with Santa, both including treats to eat and a chance to have a photo taken with Mr Christmas himself.
This year, the Ice Cream Farm’s Impulse Emporium will be selling Christmas soft toys from Jellycat, and its entrance will be a dropping-off point for donations for Chester Kids Bank’s Christmas Appeal, which works to support the local community over the season.
For adults accompanying little ones, the attraction has also launched new coffee shops located near play areas, called The Coffee Pot and the Coffee Barn, both of which will be serving hot drinks over the festive season and beyond.
