Chester Bistro Has Reasons to Celebrate

Multi-award-winning Chester eatery The Naughty Badger Bistro recently took to social media with exciting announcements.

The venue, based on Bridge Street in Chester’s historic black and white rows (what better place to run a bistro named after a badger?), was recently nominated as a finalist in the category of “Tearoom or Café of the Year” at the 2024 Cheshire Life Magazine Food and Drink Awards. As a result, the team behind the badger will be attending a glittering ceremony taking place on Monday, July 22 at the Carden Park Hotel.

The nomination wasn’t the only news The Naughty Badger had to share, however. The beloved bistro on the rows announced it is also launching a brand-new menu created with inspiration from the invaluable feedback offered by its guests.

In recent days, the bistro’s Facebook page has given a hint of what’s to come along with tantalising food photography to tempt the taste buds. The upcoming menu will feature brunch served all day and includes firm favourites along with some all-new additions. Classic charcuterie plates, Naughty Badger Fries, Brie Bites and Eggs Benedict and Honey Badger have been listed, with more dishes yet to be unveiled.

Images uploaded also offer a glimpse of two indulgent treats. The American, a brioche bun stuffed with thick pork sausage, fried egg and mozzarella, topped with two home-made potato croquettes and the Black Forest Gateau Delight featuring French toast paired with fresh berries and flavours of the famous dessert.

The Naughty Badger Bistro is located at 7 Bridge Street Row East in Chester; walk ins are welcome.
