A Cheshire Adventure Based on Books for Children

Offering a unique attraction in the Cheshire countryside for kids, BeWILDerwood Cheshire is inspired by books written by Tom Blofeld. Designed to offer families an unforgettable outdoor experience, the park provides a multitude of activities.

The author of three books called A Boggle at Bewilderwood, A Bewildermuddle and Bewilderbats, Blofeld also acts as a Vice President for Autism Anglia. He developed the Cheshire attraction based on his magical books and describes it as:

“A huge woodland full of family fun, imagination, and outdoor adventure!”

Designed for endless hours of entertainment, the Cheshire adventure park features opportunities to suit a wide range of interests. While there are plenty of exciting options for kids to expend their energy on – including swings and zip-lines – quieter pastimes are also available like getting involved with creative crafts, den building and enchanting storytelling sessions.

Intrepid adventurers can try out the “Soopa Slippy” slides, some which are wide enough to ride down two at a time, or the “Wobbly Wires” that allow them to zip-wire safely throughout the park. There is also the “Broken Bridge” and the “Towering Treetop Tangles” for brave explorers, and the “Mish Mash Maze” waiting to be solved.

Young fans of Blofeld’s book series can also keep an eye out for Marsh Boggles and members of the Twiggle Tribe as they visit Toddlewood on the Hill, Boggle Village and Telescope Hill.

This Christmas BeWILDerwood Cheshire is hosting its very own Christmas event and it’s set to be the event of the year! Running from the 2 – 23 December on selected dates, BeWILDerwood Presents Christmas is a Sparkly Light & Panto Trail full of festive fun and cheer!

The BeWILDerwood Cheshire adventure park is based in Malpas, Bickley Moss in Cheshire, just over half an hour’s drive from Chester.
