Radiohead Experience to Serenade Chester

Fans of critically acclaimed rock band Radiohead can enjoy an evening of their music in Chester at an upcoming event.

The city’s celebrated cathedral is welcoming visitors and residents of Chester to a concert featuring a group called “Let Me In”, who will be accompanied by a string quartet and trained vocalists.

The show is part of a tour of the UK and Ireland called “An Evening of Radiohead 2026” and pays tribute to the unique and ever-evolving sonic landscape of the Abingdon band, famously helmed by singer Thom Yorke.

Let Me In will entertain audiences on the night with a selection of hidden gems and hits from Radiohead’s extensive musical career, which has endured more than three decades. Songs from award-winning albums like “In Rainbows” and “OK Computer” will feature alongside material from “A Moon Shaped Pool”, which is currently celebrating its 10th anniversary. As such, those booking seats may hear tracks like “Karma Police”, “Weird Fishes/Arpeggi”, “True Love Waits”, “15 Step” and “Creep”, among others.

The live band consists of local Radiohead fans, Christopher Buckle, Alfie Woods, Daniel Anketell, Bruce Higgs, Lydia Karaviotis and Josh Semans. They will be joined by the Mike Nowland String Quartet, while the show features musical direction from Ewan Steady.

Chester Cathedral is situated on St Werburgh Street, and the Evening of Radiohead will be held on Saturday, May 9. The show has a start time of 7.30 pm and admission is available for £46.13 per person. Admission is open to all but those under age 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
