In less than two weeks’ time, the first Chester Polo Club tournament of 2019, The White Oak UKPolo Series, will take place at Chester Racecourse between Friday 21 – Saturday 22 June.
A brand-new exciting pitch-side location for the general public is set to be the event for families at the start of the summer and an afternoon of memories worth making on Saturday 22 June.
This extra special new area is set to bring a festival feel to the Roodee, with the addition of a freeform stretch tent in which hip North West parenting publication ParentFolk will be staging a takeover and running a curated cool line up of family-friendly activities and entertainment.
Enjoy an afternoon at the polo with a glass of Champagne in hand, within the new luxurious Laurent-Perrier Champagne garden. There will also be an array of pop-up food outlets and bars, including Blacklodge Brewery, and Gin Bar.
Spectators can feast on delicious dishes from North West food pop-ups including Forza Pizza, Little Rasco, Big Dub of Love, Lovage & Rosemary and Burger Joes.
There will be plenty to keep children entertained with curated kids space sponsored by Water Babies with arts and craft workshops, face painting, storytelling, baby and toddler space by kids play café Ginger Monkey Play, DJ, slime workshops, pitch invasion and plenty more.
To add to the excitement, ParentFolk has this week announced that Marc Jacobs Beauty X Harvey Nichols Manchester is joining the line-up, bringing a special beauty pop-up.
For adults and children alike there is plenty to keep the whole family entertained throughout the afternoon. Mingle with the style set and enjoy an atmosphere like no other at Chester Polo Club in June 2019. Tickets cost £7.50 per person, under 4’s go free.
Those looking for an afternoon of luxury will be able to book a beautifully crafted hospitality package on either day of the series. On arrival, guests will be provided with a brief introduction to the game of Polo, followed by a delicious luncheon.
