Description
The Grosvenor Park Miniature Railway is a family friendly attraction that has been delighting families since it first opened in the Grosvenor Park in 1996.
The quarter mile circuit glides through the park over the long bridge, past the playground on the left, the duck pond to the right meandering through trees and shrubs and into the back straight, next up is the level crossing then after a short bend you slowly enter the Grosvenor Park station. Watch out for the resident grey squirrels who jump fearlessly across the tracks.
The ticket office houses a well stocked gift shop with plenty of train related toys including Thomas and Friends, Teamsterz and Bigjigs toys so there's plenty of choice for a keepsake of your Grosvenor Park Miniature Railway adventure.
Toilet facilities are available at the pavilion building central in the park.
Railway opening times guide - Seasonal variations will apply, always check before travelling.
Weekends, school and public holidays February to September 10 am - 5 pm (last train 4.50 pm).
Also open Wed/Fri May to September 11 am - 4 pm (last train 3.50 pm).
October to February 11 am - 4 pm (last train 3.50 pm).
