Roman Day at Chester Racecourse

Roman Day is the first family-themed day in the Chester race calendar and is the perfect way to spend a family day at the start of the half-term holiday.

Celebrate the historical roots and location of Chester Racecourse within the Roman city of Chester. The Racecourse established in 1539, is the oldest racecourse still in use, most certainly in the UK but quite likely the world!

Children aged 17 and under are eligible to attend this and every single race day at Chester free of charge with a full paying adult.
