Fans of musicals and mixed drinks can soon attend an upcoming brunch event in Chester. Celebrated city cocktail bar Red Door has teamed up with Boujee Events to present a “Mamma Mia Inspired Bottomless Brunch” this November and tickets are now available to order.
The first of many events of its kind to come, the afternoon extravaganza is designed to transport ABBA enthusiasts to the sun-soaked Greek island featured in the movie and musical “Mamma Mia!”. Penned by playwright Catherine Johnson, with songs written by ABBA’s s Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson, both incarnations of Mamma Mia! have proved a critical success.
Offering an adult playground atmosphere, Red Door is renowned for its special events featuring high-quality entertainment, live music and creative cocktails.
The Chester brunch will let guests sip on a wide selection of bottomless cocktails while enjoying freshly prepared food with friends and family members. Offering plenty of opportunities for dancing, those coming down will get to hear a wide selection of ABBA tracks featured on the Mamma Mia! soundtrack like “Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)”, “Super Trouper”, “The Name of The Game”, “Dancing Queen” and “Money, Money, Money”, among others.
The Mamma Mia Inspired Bottomless Brunch will now be held at Red Door on Saturday, November 8. The event will kick off at 1 pm and end at 5.30 pm, and admission is priced at £45 per person. The late-night cocktail bar is easy to locate at 4 St John Street in Chester.
