The home of wine appreciation in Chester, Vin Santo has unveiled some of its last public tasting sessions for the year. Renowned for selling out quickly, the wine bar and shop’s tastings have limited places – 20 per event – and a firm following in the city.
Cheese and Wine on Wednesday, November 6
The last cheese and wine tasting event of the year at Vin Santo, the session will feature six carefully selected wines perfectly paired with six stunning cheeses. At £25 per person, this three-hour event always proves popular.
Winter Wine Tasting on Wednesday, November 20
The bar’s annual winter wine taster is a returning event designed to help wine lovers prepare for the festive season ahead. Vin Santo invites five suppliers it favours to share their finest wines. Those attending the event will get an opportunity to sample a staggering 50 different labels for the price of just £20 per person. There are two separate two-hour tasting sessions at 5 pm to 7 pm and 8 pm to 10 pm.
Fizz Tasting on Wednesday, December 4
A three-hour occasion, the fizz tasting session let guests enjoy six different sparkling wines to help them decide what to stock up on for Christmas. Priced at £30 per person, the event will feature a range of wines from around the world from French Champagne to English fizz.
Vin Santo can be found at 21 Watergate Street in Chester and the maximum number of tickets that one person can book is six.
