Leading conservationist and world-famous attraction Chester Zoo recently announced a brand-new activity for kids coming this summer.
Entitled the Mini Ranger Holiday Club, the upcoming experience will allow those taking part to encounter amazing animals and their habitats and learn about the important conservation work of the Zoo. All these educational opportunities will involve a wide range of fun activities within the Chester charity’s dedicated learning centre and beyond on the zoological gardens.
The three-day club will give mini rangers a chance to learn about animals of all shapes and sizes and visit them in their enclosures. There will also be games to play, stories shared and a chance to take part in craft projects. There are four different club block dates to select from, running from May 30 to August 24 between the hours of 9 am and 4 pm.
Parents wishing to book their kids in are reminded that the holiday club content will be repeated for the four dates available and to only sign up for a single club. They should also note that lunch for mini rangers is not included in the £117 ticket price.
The Mini Rangers Holiday Club is designed for primary school years one to three, however, running alongside this event is the Junior Rangers Holiday Club for kids of school years four through to six.
During the three-day activity clubs, mini rangers will have no hands-on contact with the zoo animals or enter behind-the-scenes areas that are for keeper use only.
