Respected online travel platform Tripadvisor recently ranked Chester Zoo as the best rated attraction of its kind in the entire UK. The leading conservationist celebrated its victory via an announcement on its news page and expressed delight.
Today, Tripadvisor is regarded as the largest platform providing travel guidance in the world. Analysis of data sourced from traveller ratings and reviews regarding Chester Zoo saw the much-loved landmark come out ahead of the pack surpassing strong contenders like London Zoo, Edinburgh Zoo and Whipsnade Zoo.
Chester Zoo amassed 11,392 individual “excellent” ratings, with reviews calling out to the registered charity’s firm focus on international conservation and providing unforgettable experiences for visitors. Along with being top of the list for the UK, Chester also ranked among the most elite zoos in Europe, making it the third best aquarium or zoo on the continent.
