The Live Rooms in Chester is set to play host to a southern rock band from California next month.
Renowned for making the East Coast sound their own, Robert Jon & The Wreck will be performing a single-night show in the city, introducing their music to Chester gig-goers.
Made up of four talented musicians from the “Sunshine State”, the group formed in 2011 and features band leader Robert Jon Burrison on vocals and guitar, Henry Schneekluth on lead guitar, Andrew Espantman on drums, and Warren Murrel playing bass.
An international act, Robert Jon & The Wreck have electrified audiences all around the world with soaring guitars, multi-layered vocal harmonies, and unforgettable tunes. They have enjoyed a solid run of sold-out concerts and proudly joined other talented artists like Joe Bonamassa, the Rival Sons, and Walter Trout in shared billings. Spurred on by its success, the band is taking to the road once more for 2023 to deliver raw and real performances across the UK, with Chester not missing out.
Along with undertaking annual tours, the Californian band is prolific when it comes to releasing albums. In recent years, they released 2021’s Shine A Light On Me Brother to worldwide acclaim, and two singles last year from Wreckage Vol. 2 entitled “She’s A Fighter” and “Waiting For Your Man”.
Robert Jon and the Wreck will play The Live Rooms on Thursday, February 9 between 7 pm and 11 pm. The venue can be found at 1 Station Road in Chester.
