Cheshire Ice Cream Farm Unveils Autumn Entertainment

The home of fresh frozen treats in the county, the Cheshire Ice Cream Farm, is a celebrated attraction offering over 50 flavours. This autumn, the farm has planned a programme of seasonal activities and entertainment for families in honour of Halloween and Fireworks Night.

The fun begins on Saturday, October 24 with the launch of the “World of Wizardry” which runs until Saturday, October 31. Budding young wizards and witches can join a magical class where they can stir a witch’s brew, make a potion and get their first taste of frog gloop. They’ll discover their witch or wizard name and grow a magical plant before testing their skills in a fun game of wizard ball. The 20-minute adventure ends with a graduation photo and school certificate, and SEN-friendly sessions are available to book.

Special “Make and Play” events have also been planned that let kids get crafty and creative before getting active at one of the attraction’s play features. To prepare for Halloween, the first event runs from Saturday, October 17 to Sunday, October 18 and is titled “Paint and Decorate a Pumpkin”, while the second from Saturday, November 14 to Sunday, November 15 is called “Mix and Make your Own Fudge”. Both activities let little ones take their creations home and are also offered in SEN-friendly editions.

Finally, from Friday November 6 to Sunday, November 8, the farm is holding family-friendly low-noise fireworks shows at 6.30 pm and a selection of hot food and drinks will be available.

The Ice Cream Farm is on Newton Lane in Tattenhall, Cheshire.
