Chester Hotel to Host Father’s Day Event

Situated in the heart of the city, Chester Townhouse provides exemplary accommodation and an afternoon tea menu designed for a wide range of diets, including vegan and gluten-free. This year, the popular hotel and tearoom that features Georgian architecture has organised a special occasion in honour of Father’s Day.

Dubbed the “Dads and Dogs BBQ”, the event will take place at the recently refurbished hotel which now boasts a new garden terrace, ideal for such festivities. The townhouse is not just paying tribute to fathers at its outdoor cookout, but also inviting their canine companions to come along too. Designed as a tranquil day out that all the family can enjoy, four-legged members aren’t excluded and can enjoy a meaty treat off the grill to celebrate the day.

Dads and their families arriving at the Father’s Day event can select from a range of barbequed delights for £10 per person including hamburgers, hot dogs and vegan burgers. Each hot sandwich will be served up with tasty sides in the form of coleslaw and corn on the cob.

The Dads and Dogs BBQ is being held at the Townhouse Hotel’s Garden Terrace on Father’s Day on Sunday, June 16. The event will start at 1 pm and run until 4 pm, and the hotel and tearoom can be found at 49-51 Lower Bridge Street in Chester.

Those wishing to attend can book a table online or get in touch with the hotel for further details.
