Later this month, Chester Cathedral will open its doors to budding brides and grooms-to-be with one of the city’s most popular wedding shows.
Dubbed the Chester Cathedral Wedding Fayre 2022, the upcoming occasion invites all to attend and explore a stunning event space while enjoying a wide range of live entertainment and music.
For the event, Chester Cathedral’s South Transept and Nave will be transformed into a wonderland for wedding planners to provide an abundance of premier products and inspiration. Those attending the city event will discover a vast selection of hand-picked exhibitors that will be present to showcase the latest wedding trends and themes. Expect florists, caterers, dressmakers and stationery designers, along with many other experts.
Top performers will play music and provide entertainment on the Cathedral’s main stage throughout the day, and there will be catwalk shows displaying the latest fashions for brides, bridesmaids, grooms, and groomsmen between 11 am and 1 pm.
Entry to the event is just £2 per person, with those under the age of 16 enjoying access free of charge. The first 100 couples admitted will enjoy an exclusive bag of goodies packed with discounts and the latest special offers. Additionally, the most recent issue of wedding magazine Bouquet and Bells will be available to buy for a special show price.
The Wedding Fayre will take place at Chester Cathedral, situated in St. Werburgh Street, on Saturday, September 24. Starting at 10 am and ending at 2 pm, all the entry fees from the event will be charitably donated to Chester Cathedral.
