Chester to Welcome Rock Tribute

Celebrated Chester venue The Live Rooms will be welcoming an acclaimed tribute band to the stage early next year.

Legendary AOR (Adult Orientated Rock) groups Foreigner and Journey are icons of the of the AOR classic rock genre. Enjoying massive critical and commercial success after forming in the 70s, the two bands sold more than 80 million albums while amassing a huge following both at home in the US and here in the UK.

Sadly, for British fans, the two rock groups have rarely played on UK shores leaving many music lovers deprived if experiencing the thrill of seeing and hearing them play live in concert. Fortunately, the award-winning tribute band “A Foreigners Journey” have faithfully recreated the two groups’ style and sound and are bringing it to Chester in January.

In 2021 the band earned glory at National Tribute Music Awards taking home the titles of UK’s Number 1 Tribute to Journey and UK’s Number 1 Tribute to Foreigner.
Their abilities have also been acknowledged by Foreigner bass player, Jeff Pilson, who commented:

“Check out this amazing band, they rock!”

For 10 years, the group have honed their skills delivering an authentic performance for rock fans touring Europe and the UK while headlining festivals and playing packed venues. Those attending can expect to hear rock classics from Foreigner and Journey including “Separate Ways”, “Don’t Stop Believin’” and “Juke Box Hero”.

A Foreigners Journey will now play at The Live Rooms located at 1 Station Road in Chester on Saturday, January 28. The show will start at 7 pm.
