Chester Zoo to Host Halloween Quest

Beloved family attraction and world-leading conservationist Chester Zoo has announced that for the whole of October it will be presenting a special event for Halloween.

Mysteriously entitled “Luna’s Legendary Creature”, the intriguing experience will offer budding young conservationists a chance to join Luna the witch on a mythical quest into the heart of Monsoon Forest.

Intrepid explorers will encounter five different species in their travels, and must unlock the rainforest’s secrets to claim their much-deserved Halloween treat. The successful event is back by popular demand for 2023, and this year’s edition will feature more spooky games and fun, as well as a magical Halloween boat ride.

For the 2023 experience, Luna will be journeying to Southeast Asia in search of this year’s legendary creature, which holds a secret vital to protecting the rainforest. In command of the Zoo’s Lazy River Boats, those aboard will need to beware the spooky skeletons, hollowed pumpkins and dangling bats along the way.

On this quest, little ones and their parents or guardians will encounter five enchanting animals with their own exceptional attributes. These include endangered species, such as the Sulawesi macaques and gharial crocodiles, and others like the blue-crowned hanging parrots, rhinoceros hornbills and majestic crowned pigeons.

Once standard zoo admission has been paid for, joining the Luna’s Legendary Creature is free of charge. Online booking is 10% cheaper than paying on the gate, and members of Chester Zoo can enjoy the experience for free. This event will run from October 1 to October 31.
