Returning UK Band to Rock Chester

English rock maestros Terrorvision are getting ready to storm Chester in early March.

The band are booked to play The Live Rooms and are bringing brand-new material with them. The upcoming gig in the walled city is part of the band’s tour to promote their new LP. Entitled “We Are Not Robots”, the album is Terrorvision’s first studio recording since 2011 when they released “Super Delux”.

Known for their exhilarating live shows, the band are upping the ante with incendiary tracks sourced from the new album. These will include pop rock classics in the making like “You’ve Gotta Want To Be Happy”, “Shine On” and “Daydream” to vitriolic punk anthems like “Electrocuted” and a tribute to Motorhead’s former frontman “The Night that Lemmy Died”.

Originally forming in West Yorkshire in 1987 as The Spoilt Bratz, Terrorvision moved to Bradford after they changed the name of the band. The second single released from their debut album “Formaldehyde”, called “My House”, won them breakout success in the UK singles chart which they built on with “How to Make Friends and Influence People”, their second album. Released in 1994, it saw them win the Best Newcomer award in metal magazine Kerrang! And featured the hit single “Oblivion”.

Terrorvision will now perform in room L1 of The Live Rooms on Friday, March 7. The venue is based on Station Road in Chester, and the concert is suitable for audiences aged 14 and over. The price of admission on the door is £33 per person, and the show starts at 7.30 pm with a support act.
